Permissions Post
Feb. 2nd, 2013 12:17 amConsidering the nature of Anders' mutant powers I thought it was best I did a permissions post as some of the others have.
In case you haven't had time to read his wiki, a summary would be that he can influence people to say and do anything, he largely uses this power to pull girls. To be allowed in the school in the first place he's had to agree to stop showing off in public (something the shooting in Mississippi pretty much stopped him from doing anyway) and that he'll moderately behave powers wise in general. Mostly he'll sort of behave, or rather misbehave as much as he can without risking getting chucked out and homeless.
The effect of his power varies from person to person as to how long it lasts and how intense/strong the influence is. Anders doesn't yet know why this is but the reason is to do with intelligence. Basically if people are smarter than him they'll find it easier to shrug off his influence so hid hold on them won't be for a long amount of time or very strong whereas the reverse is also true. He's currently only using a small percentage of his power though, if he starts training and realising his potential then one day he may be able to influence absolutely anyone for as long as he wishes but luckily today is not that day.
Anders' isn't a good student so his grades aren't brilliant but don't let that fool you as he is fairly bright and scheming.
Basically this post is about what you'd be happy having him influence with your character (and we can talk about this at any time if plot ideas/circumstances change at all) and also how much you think they would be held thrall but an influence like his.
